2048 ONLINE
Play 2048 online on the standard 4×4 board with a one-move Undo for accidental swipes. Every move shifts the whole board, matching tiles double, and the first target is 2048—then you can keep going. No account is required, and this standard run is saved separately from the no-Undo Classic mode.
On a computer, use the arrow keys or WASD. On a phone, swipe directly on the board. A new tile appears after each valid move. The game ends when the board is full and no neighboring tiles can merge.
Pick one corner for your largest tile and keep it there as long as possible. Build the next-largest tiles along the same edge instead of pulling them into the middle. Before a swipe, check whether the following move will still leave a useful merge. Undo is best kept for accidental moves rather than used to test every direction.
2048 is a number-merging puzzle played on a square grid. Move all tiles in four directions; when two tiles with the same value touch, they merge into one tile with double the value.

The merge rules are the same, but larger boards provide more space and games usually last longer. 4×4 has 16 cells, 5×5 has 25, 6×6 has 36, 8×8 has 64 and 10×10 has 100. Progress, best score and statistics are saved separately for each mode.

2048 is a single-player sliding number puzzle. Every move shifts the whole 4×4 board in one direction, equal tiles merge, and the goal is to create a 2048 tile before the board runs out of legal moves.
Your score increases by the value of every tile created by a merge. For example, combining two 32 tiles makes 64 and adds 64 points. A swipe that only moves tiles without merging does not add merge points, although it can create space for the next turn.
Use standard 4×4 if you want the familiar game with one-move Undo and local progress saving. Choose Classic for a stricter no-Undo 4×4 run, or move to 5×5, 6×6, 8×8 and 10×10 when you want more space and longer games.
Every mode uses the same merging idea but changes how much room you have. Pick the board size that matches the pace you want.
